Branching Out Co. design division is headed up by Sarah Palatucci, allowing us to provide a one-stop design and construct service
Sarah Palatucci is our designer. Sarah is the wife of Nick, our head landscaper. She has many years of experience in the world of interior design and has also completed a Diploma of Landscape Design, allowing her to consider your house as a whole.
Sarah has completed several qualifications in the design industry:
a nationally recognised Diploma of Landscape Design (AHC50616)
a nationally recognised Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration (MSF50213)
a Diploma in Interior Design
a Diploma in Interior Styling
a Certificate IV in Design (also nationally recognised, CUA40715).
Sarah can provide comprehensive interior and exterior design services - from simple layout changes through to larger scale renovations as well as sourcing furniture for both interior and exterior spaces. This allows us to provide a whole home solution, bringing the outdoors in and creating a cohesive environment both inside and out.
Working to connect your inside and outside living and entertaining spaces, we can help you pick out furniture pieces for any area that will compliment your home and the way you like to live. We can design indoor vertical gardens (for example, a herb garden near your kitchen) and create outdoor rooms that are truly an extension of your home.
Services provided include:
One-off design consult
An on-site meeting with clients where Sarah will provide advice and guidance. This is more for cosmetic changes, simple furniture layout changes, colour choices, etc where detailed drawings are not required or for the very early stages of your renovation journey when you want to talk through your options without the commitment of plans.
Plan drafting and design consult
For larger projects Sarah can also provide a full design service, including a consult with you on-site to discuss your needs, full CAD drafted plans, design mood boards, basic materials selection advice and ongoing support and consultation throughout the design and construction process. She can also provide elevations and perspective drawings to illustrate what the proposed design concept will look like and help you to visualize the space.
Consultation with our designer, in conjunction with the construction team, to discuss your needs and what can be created in your space. Plans will be drafted to detail the new design, as well as any other documentation relevant to the space such as a planting schedule, finishes schedule, detailed drawings of any outdoor kitchen areas etc.
Our designer can also provide additional services including furniture sourcing (including supply and installation) from a mixture of trade-only and retail stores to create a cohesive space with pieces that complement your style and home. She can also provide a detailed materials sourcing service and more comprehensive ongoing support throughout the renovation process.
As part of our design process we will advise if the proposed works are likely to require approvals. If you require approvals under a CDC (Complying Development Certificate via private certifier) or a DA (via council, followed by Construction Certificate through private certifier) we can provide a service to coordinate the process and manage all third-parties involved in the process.
We can tailor a package to suit your needs and budget - get in touch with us to discuss your project in more detail.
Sarah is an Associate member of the Design Institute of Australia.
